Will this be the summer you and I hammer the final nail in the coffin of the UN Small Arms Treaty?

My staff and I have come up with a plan that could do just that -- and we'll need your help to make it happen.

You see, in order to defeat this treaty, you and I need to round up just 34 "no" votes in the U.S. Senate.

That's why I've drafted up the Official American Firearm Sovereignty Pledge to put pro-gun senators publicly on record opposing the UN Small Arms Treaty.

If you and I can get 34 pledges in opposition, we'll have defeated the treaty before it even comes up for a vote!

But that won't be easy.

Even with the Republican tidal wave in November 2010, you and I both know how few senators are truly "pro-gun."

And as I've told you before, many senators get "queasy" about killing treaties for fear of "embarrassing" the President -- especially with "international prestige" at stake.

And now, we have a new crisis to deal with.

You see, Barack Obama and his anti-gun cronies will do ANYTHING to set the stage for passage of the UN Small Arms Treaty -- including putting innocent American lives at risk.

In fact, former Ambassador John Bolton said recently that President Obama’s ATF agents watched silently as Mexican drug cartels smuggled hundreds of rifles across the border to:

". . . provide a foundation for their argument [on] why the United States will have to enter into, in short order, the United Nations-negotiated arms trade treaty."

Yeah, you heard that right . . .

The ATF's Gun-Walker program was designed to generate so much border violence that Congress would have no choice but to pass the UN Small Arms Treaty.

And even though you and I have worked hard to expose these schemes, we still face an uphill battle.

That's because most senators are so busy with so much, most of what they hear seems like a bunch of noise.

So if you and I are going to get their attention, we need to do something big.

That's why I hope you and other members of the National Association for Gun Rights will turn this July 4th Independence Day celebration into one the gun-grabbers won't soon forget.

I've set a patriotic goal of raising $177,600 based on the year our Declaration of Independence was signed.

It's past time to Delcare Independence from the UN!

Imagine the headlines, "Gun Rights Activists Raise $180,000 To Defeat UN Small Arms Treaty!"

It will shock the establishment and shatter their anti-gun dreams.

You see, they know that with your contribution I'll be able to contact hundreds of thousands if not MILLIONS more Americans and mobilize them in this fight.

And by targeting our efforts at specific senators, you and I will gain more and more pledges until we have enough to defeat this thing no matter when they bring it up.

That will send them a message not to mess with American patriots!

Just 20-30 pledged "no" votes could be enough to keep the gun grabbers from ever bringing this up for fear of another defeat.

They've made that mistake before, and we've made them pay.

This time around, seeing a dedicated cadre committed to defeating this radical treaty and publicly proclaiming their opposition will be a hard thing to overcome.

Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has already signed the plege, and word has it a few more senators will sign on this week.

But if we're going to reach 20, 25 or all 34 needed to kill this treaty, I'll need a commitment from the grassroots like no other.

That’s because it’s vital you and I send a message DEMANDING pro-gun senators pledge 100% opposition to any United Nations gun control treaty before it’s too late.

The best way to do that is to build a massive grassroots force that no global tyrant would dare challenge.

But building that kind of grassroots movement isn't cheap.

I'm sure I don't have to tell you, this is NOT a battle we can afford to lose.

You see, the UN Small Arms Treaty is ultimately designed to register, ban and CONFISCATE firearms owned by private citizens like YOU.

So far, the gun-grabbers have successfully kept the exact wording of their new scheme under wraps.

But looking at previous versions of the UN Small Arms Treaty, you and I can get a good idea of what’s in the works.

If passed by the UN and ratified by the U.S. Senate, the UN Small Arms Treaty would almost certainly FORCE the U.S. to:

*** Enact tougher licensing requirements, making law-abiding Americans cut through even more bureaucratic red tape just to own a firearm legally;

*** CONFISCATE and DESTROY ALL "unauthorized" civilian firearms (all firearms owned by governments are excluded, of course);

*** BAN the trade, sale and private ownership of ALL semi-automatic weapons including shotguns and other firearms commonly used for hunting;

*** Create an INTERNATIONAL gun registry, setting the stage for full-scale gun CONFISCATION.
Worse, once this fight kicks off, you and I won’t have much time to react.

The good news is, whenever they choose, you can be sure the National Association for Gun Rights will be there.

But I'm counting on your support to be prepared.


My staff just launched a campaign circulating signed American Firearm Sovereignty Surveys from all over the country to the ENTIRE U.S. Senate.

We've already dropped hundreds of thousands of peices of mail to generate opposition to this radical treaty.

Our goal is to FORCE as many U.S. Senators as possible to pledge 100% opposition to the UN Small Arms Treaty.
