Anti-Smoking Fascist calls for "License to Smoke"

There's been a call to license smoking, and to have a system similar to the one proposed for gamblers, to limit the number of cigarettes people can smoke in a set time.

If they did this, it would either drive the tobacco industry underground, removing billions of tax in the process or stop millions from smoking (huge losses for tobacco and pharmaceutical companies that both cause and push the billion dollar cancer "treatment" industry). Not to mention the population control measures of cancer: stop millions from smoking and you've got even more of a population issue than we currently have.

I fully agree with you on this one. I hate to say it but it's going way to far. I gave my views on my site about this, and in all truth that is how I feel. They can take this stupid idea and stick it where the sun don't shine. They already have it now so that people can't smoke in bars, and now even on beaches, and parks.

My friend was just here from Alaska and apparently up there you need a permit to be allowed to buy alcohol. Same idea, already in place up there...

I can see it in a way, because so many people get picked up for drinking and driving and then do it again and again. Maybe that will cut down on the drunk drivers. But still it is a bit much.
