Thanks for your understanding. I have no proofs to offer. People have to realize that even if I held an actual artifact in hand, I could not photograph it or carry it away, so what good does holding one do for me? I have no proof and no way to tell anyone. No on believes, and some just readjust their aluminum helmets.

So, here I am stuck.

Now, here is another part to this story. What if you have an artifact, know that it is working, but have no idea what it is doing. Imagine Ben Franklin with a radio. He can turn it on, as long as the battery would last, but he would hear nothing but static.. He could change the station, and he would know something was going on, but no idea what. He could open it and it would be filled with little black bumps and things (to him). Well, this same would apply to us if we actually got an alien artifact. If truly alien, it would be undefinable in any terms we currently have.
