What is it about, this 'Iran surrounding U.S. 'defense''?The Obama administration took the unusual step Saturday night, Jan. 30, of leaking word to major US media that the United States, Saudi Arabia and Gulf allies - the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain - have accelerated the deployment of new defenses against possible Iranian missile attacks. They are preparing for Iran, or its surrogate Hizballah, to hit back for a possible US or strikes on Tehran's nuclear facilities.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has promised to announce Iran's attainment of a 20 percent uranium enrichment capability, a short step to weapons grade material.
If say the US attacked Iran, I guess IRAN wouldn't be able to defend themselves. How can regular citizens think this is not going to force IRAN to defend itself from a) being surrounded and b) being isolated and c) attack/forced control of their regional politics
IMO: It seems everyone goes to democracy, or democracy comes to you with B52's and defense systems preinstalled to stop any retaliation or defense of IRAN. Now who is the good guy?? I don't know. To me though it seems more often than not, defensive measures to one country are an offensive measure to the other. Want an example? Like the U.S. Low flying ICBM program, and the risk of a pre-emptive strike from Russia, a real officially recorded ,(intelligences and otherwise) of how dangerous 'defense' can be, and that was when you hadn't surrounded your perspective enemy or directly threatened it.
