who'd have thought Obama would make things worse in the middle east? Not me. Must be his _majority CFR_ cabinet.

Or, the deal Kissinger made with the Saudis and other parties in the middle east is going to an end. The real simple deal, we buy your oil in dollars, a certain percentage has to be used to buy American bonds. As a return favour we do not use American oil so you the middle east countries get the better half of the deal. Or is it ?

American currency becomes world dominating, printing dollars for growth is no problem, the bonds are being bought by an outside party, Saudi et all wealth is denominated in dollars, killing the dollar would kill their assets. Any attempt to sell oil in any other currency gets fought badly - see Saddam threatening to sell oil in euros, he's dead now.

Oh well, just conspiracy thinking I guess..
