G'day, been a long time member over at ATS and finally threw in the towel with that site and its over-inflated opinion of itself.

In case you couldn't tell I'm an Aussie, and looking forward to a decent time here with some intellectual discussions, maybe like ATS was back in the day...

hey Arkangel. I'm sorry to hear you've had a harsh experience with the ATS crowd. That don't surprise me much, that is a Shania Twain quote not a Mark Twain quote, but be assured we've plenty of both here.

We're small, we're tall, we're tidy, and we're damn well sane.. I have to be honest Arkangel, things haven't been super active here, I have, but I'm much the same as you. Looking for an intellectual discussion of open-minded proportionality. It's a harder thing to find than you'd have thought, we set up this site because of an experience at a certain other site.

I'd like to give you a very welcome you to the forum , and hope that you won't see it as dead like some of the other people, the Ed Leedskalnin and Tesla 3 6 9 articles I think are golden. Pun intended! Though, I wrote them so I would say that.

I guess, when I say gold I mean, the concepts have been not-rejected long enough to have a fair non-occamal appraisal. e.g. Science is the science of explaining, not explaining away; and I wish I had a dollar every time I said that to a Randii enthusiast. Exposing con-artist falsehoods and biases; not at all like the unbiased scientific man whom makes his money and name from the job discrediting other people;

Welcome! Like Red says not all that active yet but we do have some plans to change that. We were rolling along but both got insanely busy but I think the pendulum is about to swing back so hang in there
