if you didnt know Frog, as you mentioned you're not into plugging, he means an ad.

oh , really?? Me and Sean wanted to start CONSPIRACY.CO because ATS was banning atheists and the smartest of people.. not exactly deny ignorance in my opinion anyways... I think it's perhaps a little naive to use that to justify a means to create a kind of status quo of considerate meandering and censorship, and when not that some really nasty, and hateful people seem to have a passport to walk around upsetting whom they please.

Factual character references are banned on ATS, along with true facts to accompany them. I'm bold enough to admit I'm often thinking in sociopolitical or frankly metaphysical and spiritual ways... I think it's important that people know what they are getting.. for instance, I was banned on ATS for attempting to give a character reference on a thread entitled "those who believe in the 9/11 conspiracy make me sick" to a sociopath called Pathos on their site..

I was banned for mentioning that he'd intentionally posted on a long thread of mine, just minutes after my post on his thread, as childish as it may seem, this is a tactic employed by those who are unable to discuss a scenario or model either rationally, intellectually or honestly. The time index was on both posts .... showing not only did he break ATS rules, verbally insult me, and make unfounded claims about a post he didn't read, but a moderator told me "I was in the wrong" for calmly and honestly posting what he'd done - apparently thats not allowed - bearing in mind i had always been courteous and honest, and respectful. This was rather alarming. It's kind of nice for me because I have 1000 or so line MSN conversation with TheBorg showing this. Stepping through each 'apparent T&C' that i had breached, by calling Pathos out for what he'd done.

I think this was all that was left for the guy to do anyway, as the only reason he did it was because i pointed out when he said "I always believed in the original story" - to which i replied candidly "Which? The original story has changed over 20 times?" I can see how that'd piss off someone who wasn't very smart.

The truth does that, I guess, I didn't expect it to apply to the moderators who are supposed to defend the truth at ATS.

I've a ton of proof documenting this.

That's why I left ATS, well actually because I was forcibly banned. For refusing not to post the truth. Sucks huh. Nobody knows it because i was censored, but I can prove it to anyone who is vain enough to care about a community that cannot enforce it's own T&C, then proceeds to ban those obeying it and ignore those breaking it clearly. Bloody marvelous!!! Can I assume you were banned also? And for less than fair or honest reasons? If you were, you wouldn't be the first kind gent who wants to share truth and ideas with like minded people to tell me this.

Rules, or Laws, are great. Especially when it's about denying ignorance. But blind following of that, ignorance, to what? stupidity? Malice? Justice? Indeed.

I hope that your stay is at least as pleasant as your stay on ATS polarknight ;-) It might be a month or two until things really take off! If just half of what I say , in opinion, is right. It damn well ought to be.

Yeah, ironically, I don't think the problem is the T&C either, but actually the way , and the people enforcing it.
