Finding the hidden, helpful, hurtful and overlooked obvious truths. Trying to preserve the last of my predatory ape instincts. Hoping that together we can save ourselves from ourselves. I feel many answers for the future lie buried in our past.Never follow blindly.

Welcome Madprophet, we are all friends here. Skeptics and new agers, I think we're dropping the last of the ape instincts;
ridiculing
fighting
abusing
grouping
insistence
are features that are now gladly being replaced by.. rationalism, balance, open mindedness. co-operation, understanding, and most importantly our respect for each other as people. Because thats exactly what we are. People aren't the idea's - and I think it's important to open up a 'forum' of discussion about all these things, without feeling a non intellectual need to be nasty to a human being because their world is somehow 'stupid' , 'incompatible' or 'misconceived'. Indeed, if everything is relative, perhaps Einstein could teach us ALL some lessons about respect and spirituality, as well as science. Funnily enough, I'm sure Einstein did ;-)
Behold everything that we stand for that is good, and - for the nice intellectuals, dare I say scientific. The question is can you be open minded and scientific? I argue no, but i've never had a problem compromising, it's everyone who 'knows they are right' - have problems dealing with me, ;) and I nasty or emotionally devoid people.
You are definitely right to say that could be highly dangerous in the absence of hidden and lost truths.
It may afterall be true, all this spiritual talk is a little unfounded, but we aren't about to remove the fundamental emotional requirements and parts of human expression are we? At least, not without a consequence. I see this consequence everywhere. As a result of my open mindedness I don't see a difference between me and the skeptic, we are both fallible, and we both know it - it ultimately is our kindness and our understandings that really set us apart. Is it not?
After that little mouthful of philosophy, I would like to thank you for joining and inform you that you are most welcome my friend!
Hope to hear more from you,
Best Wishes,
A
